Contributions may be made in memory of Alan to the Middlefield VFW. Alan was born on February 22, 1947, in Cleveland, OH. He spent his whole life living in Geauga County where he graduated from Chardon High School in 1965. He later furthered his studies at Lakeland Community College. He spent his career in the IT field, retiring from Stouffer's/Nestle's in the early 2000's. When not working, Alan could be found fishing, boating, bird watching, or spending time with his family, which he cherished most. He was a proud US Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Alan was a very kind and giving man.
