Adria Sankovic

ADRIA JADRANKA SANKOVIC (nee Kostelic) age 65 , beloved wife of John (Radovan); loving mother of Diana. Julie and step-son John (Patty); devoted grandmother of Alexandra, Peter, Julia and Little Charlie; dear sister-in-law of Miro and Biserka Sankovic; cherished daughter of Stefanie and Dragutin Kostelic (both deceased); loving niece of Elizabeth (Sava) Marin and Jelka DeCarli (Australia) and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Adria passed away Dec. 27, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, she had been a resident of Richmond Heights before moving to Chester Township 41 years ago. For 22 years, Adria was the founding assistant director of the LL.M. (masters of law) program for foreign law students at Case Western Reserve University, which currently has over 800 alumni. The CWRU Law School has established the Adria J. Sankovic Award to be awarded yearly to the student who best exemplifies the outstanding qualities of Adria.

Family suggests memorial donations in her name to a Breast Cancer awareness charity of your choice. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday December 31, 2013 at St. Anselm Church. Entombment All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD. AND RT. 91) MONDAY 3-8 P.M.
