ADELE RUMINSKI (nee Polak) age 99, beloved wife of the late Walter; loving mother of Dan (wife Jane), Don (wife Debby), Sharon Majers (husband Joe) and mother in law of the late Susan; devoted grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 19; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Wojasinski) Polak; dearest sister of Lucy McNamara and the late Sally, Joseph and Edward Polak, Helen Kramer and Jenny Wrona; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Adele was born on November 23, 1919 and passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019. She lived in Tanglewood for the past 30 years and was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Adele was the lifelong cafeteria manager at Beachwood High School. She loved gardening, dancing and listening to polka. Adele enjoyed watching politics and was an avid reader. She adored kids and working with them at the high school. Adele was a strong willed and determined women with a great sense of humor. She will be remembered most as being very social and outgoing. Adele will be forever missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, November 4, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Adele at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  SUNDAY 1-4 PM.
