Edward P. Hughes

EDWARD P. HUGHES age 59, loving father of Joseph and the late Edward, Jr.; former husband of Lauren (nee Grugel); cherished son of the late Thomas and Rose Marie (nee Kintly); dearest brother of Paula LaMonica (husband Robert) and Thomas; dear uncle of many.

Ed was born on November 12, 1963 and passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2022. Ed grew up in Mayfield Heights and graduated from Mayfield Heights High School in 1982. He graduated from Cuyahoga Community College where he studied Computer Science and went on to enjoy a career as a Tech Manager.  Ed spent part of his life residing in South Euclid but settled in Twinsburg in 2010.

Ed belonged to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) organization. He loved cooking, bowling, golf and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Ed loved to go camping and was a fan of country and the classic rock-n-roll oldies music. His family and friends would agree that Ed was very social, strong willed, gregarious and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved pleasing people and was devoted to his family.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
