CAROLE JOANNE ROSE (nee Nyerges) age 79, beloved wife for 52 years of James; loving mother of Tammy (fiancé Andy Scheuring), David and Daniel (wife Gina); devoted grandmother of Angelina and Alexandre; cherished daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (nee Turoczi) Nyerges; dearest sister of Robert (Mary, deceased) and Bill (wife Bonnie); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Carole was born September 14, 1938 in Windber, Pennsylvania and passed away on June 18, 2018. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 50 years with her family, and husband James of 52 years. Carole proudly worked as a crossing guard for the Lyndhurst City School District and volunteered in that same position for Oakville School in Mayfield Heights.Carole greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends as it gave her the most fulfillment in life. She was a nurturing caretaker to her children, as well as to others. Additionally, Carole was a spirited animal lover (especially dogs) and a genuine warm soul.  She took exceptional enjoyment from her two grandchildren, Angelina and Alex. Carole always found a way to devote a part of herself to those close to her and for that she will be dearly missed

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Carole to First Covenant Church, 2900 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44092.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 12 Noon at the funeral home with Carole’s brother, Pastor Bill Nyerges of First Covenant Church, officiating. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Burial following at a later date at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carole at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SATURDAY 10-12 PM/
